The supply of ARV drugs was not an initial proposal and resulted from the pressure of social movements, but also from the medical field and the media. Later, from the articulation between militants of the Brazilian Health Reform, the law project that provided a different situation of access to ARV drugs was drafted, imposed major changes in the AidsSpace and buried the possibility of an Aids policy without access or with restricted access to ARV drugs.</p><p></p>
