abstract This article focuses analytically on the issue of cyberbullying in its conceptual essence, regardless of its various modes: e-bullying, digital bullying, electronic bullying, internet bullying or mobile bullying. This is a cause of concern in the information society because it affects public health, given the growing number of people, especially in the school environment, stricken with psychic illnesses - emotional destabilization - due to this type of moral harassment. The article also addressed the importance of prevention by the family, as the primary social group, as well as by educational institutions, as secondary social groups. It alludes to the leading role of technology in this context. And it focuses on prevention mechanisms such as the Safe Digital School Project and the Program to Combat Systematic Intimidation.
