Indigenous Territory: IACHR Repercussions in the Brazilian’s Right

Abstract The purpose of this article is to establish a dialogue between the understandings of the Inter-American Human Rights System and its possible influence on the Brazilian legal system, especially in the Federal Supreme Court, regarding the territorial rights of Indigenous Peoples. The research method used was that of bibliographic review and that of a comparative case study, using as bibliographic, documentary and case law research techniques, with qualitative data analysis.
