Abstract The article aims to analyze reports of education agents for democracy. In order to do so, we examine pedagogical agents who work in the projects of education for democracy of the National Congress. The reports were obtained through structured interviews in May 2017, with 229 Senate and House officers, responsible for the 15 projects of political education of the two legislative houses. The methodology consists of content analysis. The main conclusions show that pedagogical agents associate the challenges of education to democracy today, with the context of crisis that affects Brazil, especially the cultural, educational and political crisis.
